November 3rd: Christina Hall “Clinical Anxiety vs. When to Seek God to use your Anxiety and Stress for Good”

Christina Hall

Hello, my name is Christina Hall, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I graduated in 2003 with a Master of Education in School Counseling. I have 13 years of counseling experience in a variety of fields: community mental health, private practice counseling, and school counseling. I currently have a private practice in Sullivan, Indiana and also provide counseling services for the Southwest School Corporation. I often work closely with the court system in Sullivan providing services as a Parenting Coordinator, as a Mediator, and providing counseling services for the Probation Department and the Department of Child Services.

One of my specialty areas is providing counseling for children who have experienced trauma. My goal as a counselor is to provide counseling services for children as well as adults in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment that challenges people of all ages to grow socially and personally to reach their fullest potential. I often find myself in the unique position to share about God and reach out to people in need and challenge them spiritually.

Join our group at First Baptist Church of Robinson (301 S. Jefferson) from 6:15-8:00 pm.  Free childcare is provided.

October 20th: Amber Ramsey “When God Speaks”

Amber is “momma” to Abigail (9), Capri (7), Otto (5) and Nikolai (2). She and her high school sweetheart, Dan, have been married 14 years. While Amber enjoyed being a stay at home mom for six short years, she is now enjoying her dream job as an elementary school counselor. Amber and Dan have been active members of Highland Avenue Baptist Church for the past 10 years. Despite her crazy life, Amber enjoys making time for running, kettlebells, gardening, canning, and documenting life on Instagram.

The Ramsey family began their adoption process in the fall of 2011, and received their referral call in January of 2015. The adoption agency they used is All God’s Children International and their homestudy agency is Baptist Children’s Home & Family Services.

Make plans to join us as Amber shares her family’s adoption journey! Mom 2Mom meets from 6:15-8:00pm at First Baptist Church in Robinson (301 South Jefferson). All ladies are welcome to attend and free childcare is provided.

October 6th: The Cutting Edge “Beauty Tips and Tricks”

Brittney Herrell, Debbie Knight, Judy Sager

Debbie Knight is 48 yrs old, mother of 3, stepmom of 3 and grandmother (Mimi) of 5 adorable grandchildren. She is blessed to be married to the love of her life, Tracy Knight. Debbie has been a hairstylist since 1987 and is now the owner of The Cutting Edge salon in Robinson. She enjoys being involved in musical and drama productions at Lincoln Trail College, spending time with her family, and traveling with her husband. At church, she serves on the mission board, sings on the praise team, music committee, and helps teach primary church. Debbie finds a passion in talking to other “fellow” blended family parents about issues that occur and help give them advice on how to help overcome struggles that pop up and how to make second marriages work!

My name is Judy Sager. I have been a hair dresser for 45 years. Wow! How time flies when you’re having fun! So many changes and yet some coming back!
I am married to Tom and together we have 4 children, Michelle Pinkston, Rodney Igle (Stacie), Leslie Lewis (Brady) and Jessie Rich (Eli) and 8 grandchildren. All are close to home to have Sunday church and a good meal together. We keep very busy with all their activities.
I have worked with Debbie for almost 27 years! I am her 2nd mom (wish it was her older sister – ha!) We also work with Brittney, Debbie’s daughter. We are a family! Our shop is a fun, caring place to witness to many. Our clients are our friends. This hair business is ever changing but one that’s a gift and a blessing!

Brittney Herrell is 25 years old. I have been doing hair for the past 5 years. I worked several places such as Do or Dye in Robinson, Salon 01 in Carmel, IN, and now I am currently at The Cutting Edge here in Robinson. I like to specialize in color mostly but I also enjoy cuts and updos. I chose this profession because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do at the 4 year college I was at. I decided to take a step back and think about what I enjoyed doing and what I was good at so I decided to attend beauty school and pursue cosmetology.

Come and join us for a fun night as these awesome ladies share some beauty ideas with us! Mom2Mom meets at First Baptist Church in Robinson (301 South Jefferson) from 6:15-8:00pm. Free childcare is provided. Invite a friend and enjoy a night out with the girls!
